Tim Mamtora

Tim is responsible both for Imagination’s cutting-edge research, helping to identify emerging new trends and directing innovation efforts across the company to produce a compelling technology roadmap, and all aspects of engineering, from concept to delivery of Imagination’s innovative hardware and software products.

Prior to joining Imagination Tim spent over 14 years at Broadcom creating and managing world-leading technology, including flagship set-top box SoCs and a decade of experience architecting and designing graphics processors.  He has extensive practical knowledge of guiding innovation in teams, from conception through specification and implementation. 

Tim is passionate about championing new ideas and promoting future champions through STEM education, having co-authored an educational text-book in association with Raspberry Pi.

Tim holds an MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School and an MEng degree from the University of Cambridge.
